This is the finished Tristan sweater, from Elsebeth Lavold's "Embraceable You" book. I knitted this for my husband out of Berocco Ultra Alpaca, and it's perfect. The picture does not do this sweater justice, although the up close photo of the detail looks pretty good. And it fits him like a dream!

This one is amazing - too bad everyone can actually see the excellent seaming - the underneath is equally as beautiful as the outside - a true miracle in very talented hands with years of practice.
